Premarital sex and Teen pregnancy are issues that calls the attention of every teenager. The population of single parent increase so fast. In a survey almost 11.9 million are single parent live in United States. While 20 million of all children under 18 live with one parent. Eighty four percent of that 20 million live with their mother. But why does the population of single parents continue increasing? Young people are involved in premarital sex and they reason out that "everybody is doing it". But when unwanted pregnancy occurred, the woman usually pays the higher price than her partner. That is why most of the single parent are women. Dr. Gary Shaley wrote in his book that "there is pleasure, but the harmful of influence of non marital sex quickly becomes apparent to many people. There are three types of single parents: the displayed homemakers, adolescent mothers, and single father. Today, single fathers increases like adolescent mothers do. Single fathers accepted the responsibility of rearing a child. In case of the divorce, the fathers also might to be more likely to challenge the notion that the mother should automatically get custody. Widow fathers still continue to support, provide the social, emotional and physical needs of his children. The large increase seems to be the result of combination of several factors. One is curiosity, teenagers seems done experiment only to find out that is causes guilt, emotional turmoil, fear, anxiety, self condemnation anger and depression. These emotional feeling are carried into subsequent relationship and again cause more damage and difficulty. Second is peer pressure. Young teens experience being pressured by their companion or buddies especially the boys and sometimes they cant have an excuse not to go. Next was influence of mass media. Pornography is always everywhere in television, Internet, and magazines. Men and women are influence for what they seen. It started them to involve into premarital sex. But others says that you can resist by not attempting to give a second look on pornography that makes you arouse. Finally the over intimacy and closeness of partner. Some partners always go to place where it could be lured to do things it should be doing that sometimes it becomes overly expressive that leads them into sexual intercourse. Single people having premarital sex isn't different from married couples having an extra marital affairs. How can you be sure you will be faithful when you are married if you are already unfaithful when you are single?
