Do Relationships Really FAIL?

When we begin our journey with the woman we've have attracted into our lives, there is no doubt we have quite a good pre-conceived idea of what we expect our relationship with this person to be in the future. We all may have the fantasy of the ultimate passionate long term relationship where you visualize the both of you rolling around over the sand, making passionate love outdoors on a tropical island, traveling or cruising the globe together......
I am sure that not any one of us will set out from the start that once they have attracted their perfect intimate partner, they are looking forward to a life of misery, poverty, ill-health and friendship with no sex. I know that was a bit too extreme, (I even felt like crap writing about it), just the thought of that scared me!

Well, here is my personal take after years of personal experience and speaking to thousands of couples, and singles who have had broken down relationships.

I have come to the realization that relationships don't really fail, WE as humans do. Now is the time to take back that responsibility and things will change.

When we first start dating someone, our bodies release hormones which cause us to want to always be with that person, to always think about them day and night, make love to them numerous times a day and even staying up all night wanting to talk to them. Yes men, talk to them. You didn't hear wrong.

Why then, a couple of years down the track do all those above mentioned feelings grinds to a halt? Because the amount of these hormones released are now not only no longer released, but the have changed to become 'passionate sex hormones' to 'lets slow down and have a family hormones'.

BUT, we should not take this for granted and 'blame' it all on the hormones. We must not just pass the buck and just blame it on the hormonal change which I'm sure you're probably thinking of right now right?

We don't have to let the hormones ruin the fun. I believe if you keep at it, have fun, keep your relationship interesting and never take your partner for granted by continuing to keep doing the small things, your relationship will be always as passionate as ever.

Why relationships break down is because we as the human species always put blame on the other party, saying they didn't give me this so I won't give abck and so on.

Here's the secret to ultimate relationship success; ssshhhhh, don't' tell anyone alright........

Don't ever slack off from doing all the little things you once did for this person you love. If you wanna get a lot back, you gotta give even more and not stop giving. It will be worth it in the end. Love, humor, attention, fun, passion is not like money which you will have less once you give out. In fact, it's totally the OPPOSITE. The more you give out, the MORE you get back, not just from your partner, but from the feeling of satisfaction and love within yourself.

This truly is frame of mind. Try it, and see for yourself. I'll bet you'll have so much passion again you'll wonder, crap, why could I have lost it in the first place when it was always inside of me to give out???

In the mean time, Good Luck!
